MEET ANDREW

SCOTTISH PHOTOGRAPHER & GUIDE.

Lover of mountains, wood-fired pizza, lonely bothies, strong coffee, and the smell of pine.

Born and raised amidst the rolling hills of Ayrshire in southwest Scotland, I've been connected to the outdoors since childhood - camping in fields, exploring woodland and playing in local rivers. Nowadays, you will most likely find me traversing remote corners of the Scottish Highlands with a tent on my back and camera in hand.

When I am not working, I can often be found in a cosy cabin or an off-grid hut with my partner Georgia, where we enjoy reading, playing board games and watching the local wildlife. At home, I love to cook hearty homemade meals, visit the local castles and potter around the garden.

But, above all else, I love creating photographs.

WORK & ETHOS

My love for Scotland's rugged landscapes and ever-changing weather has been the driving force behind a photography career that has seen me work on a number of commercial & editorial projects for the likes of Panasonic Lumix, Talisker and Visit Scotland, as well as leading guided tours across the Isle of Skye and West Highlands with Hidden Scotland.

I pride myself in having a genuine approach to photography, which often results in images that feel authentic and raw, capturing moments and scenes as they truly are.

My distinctive style embodies an adoration for colour, light and the environment, with an emphasis on earthy tones and storytelling.

I am extremely proud to be an official partner of Panasonic Lumix.
